Netflix hit a grand slam with it’s new show “The Punisher.”
I’ve been knocking out a couple episodes every day for the past week, and not a single second has disappointed. This has to be on your must watch list right now. I refuse to trust a single person who won’t at least give this show a chance.
Of course, be warned that it’s as violent as a show can possibly come.
Jon Bernthal and Ben Barnes both deserve Emmy Awards for their performances in this show. Bernthal as The Punisher/Frank Castle and Barnes as his main enemy Billy Russo are both incredible. It’s the best duo on screen since Timothy Olyphant and Walton Goggins were together in FX’s “Justified.”
Amber Rose Revah also crushes it as Homeland Security agent Dinah Madani. She’s also kind of a low key smoke show. That never hurts to have on a show.
I was on the edge of my seat for this entire show, especially the last few episodes. Every reload of “The Punisher’s” weapon felt like a lifetime.
I’m not going to spoil anything here because this show deserves much better than that. I will say that this show is extremely satisfying. This might honestly be Netflix’s best production so far, and I’d encourage everybody to give it a shot.
