Florida State Has Found Its Next Head Football Coach

David Hookstead | Reporter

Florida State will hire Willie Taggart away from Oregon to be its new football coach, according to ESPN.

ESPN’s Darren Rovell also pointed out that this will be Taggart’s third team in the past year, which is downright incredible.

This is a pretty solid hire for FSU. Taggart is a young guy and has a decent level of success so far in his coaching career. He’s also not likely to bolt for a bigger or better job. Florida State is pretty much the top of the mountain, and a much better job at the current moment in my eyes than Oregon.

Now we’ll have to wait and see if he can bounce back from the disastrous season FSU had this year.
