Wisconsin Basketball Is Incredibly Embarrassing At The Moment

Life as a Wisconsin sports fan just keeps getting worse and worse.

First, our football team lost in the Big Ten championship, and now our basketball team isn’t even five hundred.

I understand the fact we’ve played an absolutely brutal schedule so for. This is still totally unacceptable. Say whatever you want about Bo Ryan, but he never would have allowed the team to be 4-6 through the first third of the season.

Sure, I could sit here and make a billion different excuses. We’re young, one of best young guys is playing hurt, the players haven’t had time to mesh together yet and Happ can’t get a ton of help on the offensive end. I could easily bring up all those points, but I won’t. Being a Wisconsin man is about getting things done. It’s not about making excuses when we start losing. I’ll leave that to the rest of America.

We just lost to Temple last night. To quote my guy Bo Ryan, “What the hell was that?”

I still trust Greg Gard, and I know he’s the guy for the job. That’s why I wasn’t terribly upset when my alma mater hired him instead of hiring myself. Having said that, we better turn this ship around real quick or we won’t be playing in March. The state might burn to the ground if we miss March Madness.

I’d rather take a shot at a national championship than shoot my shot at a supermodel. There are plenty of hot women on this planet. You might call me crazy but there’s never any guarantee you’re going to get more than one shot at a title. I promise you there’s always another hot woman down the line. This is the mindset that wins championships.

Now let’s get this taken care of like Wisconsin men always do.
