Lithuanian basketball star and Toronto Raptors player Jonas Valanciunas isn’t worried about LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball’s transition to his home country.
“Great fit in Lithuania…Lithuania is a perfect country for those guys,” Valanciunas told TMZ Sports when asked about the two brothers headed across the ocean.
Not everybody is so confident the Ball brothers are going to light it up and love the European country. Former Wisconsin basketball star Ben Brust, who also played there, is very confident the situation is a “disaster waiting to happen.”
The Ball’s to Lithuania is a disaster waiting to happen (I played there for a year and hated it). This is a picture of the teams gym that the Ball brothers would play at. Not exactly BIG BALLER material #BBB pic.twitter.com/STkQ57YRS5

I hope this all works out for LaMelo and LiAngelo. You never want to see anybody fail, but playing in Europe is no joke. Those aren’t middle school leagues, and they’re stacked with fully grown men.
There’s going to be a bit of culture shock for sure, but hopefully these boys get it figured out. Either way, this is going to be very entertaining.
