Former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer will be releasing a book bashing the media for its criticism of his former boss President Donald Trump.
Spicer announced he signed a book deal Monday night in an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity. The former press secretary gave a preview into his book, saying it will have nothing to do with White House gossip but will focus on the media’s coverage of Trump.
“This isn’t about White House gossip,” Spicer said. “I can tell you from first-hand experience of the rampant hostility President Trump faces daily from the mainstream press, and I want the American people to have an opportunity to hear the truth they won’t hear from mainstream media.”
“There’s a lot of stuff that that those guys got wrong, from the campaign, through the transition, through the White House.” Spicer continued.” I want to set the record straight.”
Since leaving The White House in August Spicer has been helping the Republican National Committee (RNC) fundraise and has been paid to give speeches across the country after signing with Worldwide Speakers Group in September.
