Democratic Rep. Hakeem Jeffries wasted a lot of time on Wednesday by trying to get House staffers to display one of President Donald Trump’s tweets.

During Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein’s testimony before the House Judiciary Committee, Jeffries tried to get a Trump tweet displayed on a monitor. The staffers were having technical difficulties, and instead of moving on or reading the tweet himself right away, Jeffries allowed them to spend some time fumbling around.
“The committee had been given notice of a tweet that I wanted displayed on the screen last evening,” Jeffries told the committee chair.
A colleague even jumped in to make sure that Jeffries didn’t lose any of his allotted five minutes for questioning while the staffers worked on getting the tweet ready.
Finally, a full minute and a half after requesting the tweet be displayed, Jeffries decided to read it himself.
Deputy AG Rosenstein had a smirk on his face during the entire awkward exchange.
