LeBron And Lonzo Are Just Buds, No Cause For Cleveland Panic

There’s been a considerable amount of buzz surrounding last night’s Cavs-Lakers game, and I want to clear some things up.

First off, Cleveland defeated the Lakers 121-112, so let’s not start the debate about which team is better. Cleveland has LeBron and he’s happy there.

Secondly, everyone’s focusing on one very minor, totally forgettable moment that happened after the buzzer and I don’t see why it’s a big deal. After the game, LeBron James and Lonzo Ball had a chat and then went on their merry ways. It wasn’t a big deal at all.

See? Nothing suspicious here. There’s zero shot that LeBron was saying anything about making a move to the Lakers. The word ‘Los Angeles’ probably never even escaped his lips. These are just two ball players having a chat after the game.

In fact, there’s a multitude of things they could have been discussing. LeBron probably just wanted to tell Lonzo all the hot spots to hit while he was in Cleveland. Or maybe he wanted to put in an order with Big Baller Brand. Could it be he was telling Lonzo about his upcoming role in Smallfoot? There’s a good chance.

Now I know all the cynics out there think LeBron is sick of Cleveland. They say if he left Ohio once there’s an even better shot he’ll do it again. But until I actually see LeBron James in the LA area or buying property there, I refuse to believe such slander.

What’s that? He bought a house there in 2015? Well, that’s just one house. Plenty of famous people have second homes in LA.

He just bought another house in LA this month? For $23 million?

Well, I’m not gonna believe it until I see him in that mustard yellow Lakers uniform with my own two eyes. Until then, I’m sticking with his alibi. He didn’t say anything to Lonzo. He was just breathing heavily into his uniform while locking eye contact with him.
