“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” continued to absolutely dominate the box office when it hit $450 million internationally.

The Hollywood Reporter reported the following:

Disney and Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi delivered an early Christmas present for Hollywood and theater owners with a near-record $220 million debut in North America, the second-best showing of all time behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Internationally, director Rian Johnson’s tentpole took in $230 million from 54 markets for a worldwide launch of $450 million.

This film’s domination of the box office has been so much fun to watch. It’s an absolute bloodbath against the competition. They would have already instituted a mercy rule if this was a sport.

Everybody with a brain knew that the latest installment of the legendary saga would be awesome. Personally, I can’t get enough of Rey and Kylo together. As I’ve said before, those two have the most sexual tension on screen that I’ve seen since the days of Jon Snow and Daenerys.

The next movie needs to get here right now. I need to know how the journey ends for Rey and Kylo like I need air in my lungs.
