It was revealed this week that a secret UFO program was run by the Pentagon in recent years.

The $22 million dollar program, called the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, was intended to study UFOs and prove their existence. The program was backed by Senator Harry Reid at the time and lasted for four years.

The peculiar government funding of the UFO program made its way into the White House press briefing Tuesday. A reporter said he wanted to ask about UFOs to some laughter.

Just then, the reporter’s Siri went off, speaking an inaudible sentence.

Cries in the room of “It’s a UFO!” were met by Sanders saying, “I want to pass on this question given that you have aliens sitting among you.”

The reporter continued, citing the program and asking if Trump believes in UFOs and if the president would consider restoring funding.

“Somehow that hasn’t come up,” Sanders said of her conversations with the president, “but I will check in on that and circle back.”
