Authorities have discovered the third person killed in the Washington train wreck was a convicted sex offender, federally charged for obtaining child pornography, the Associate Press reports.

Benjamin Gran, 40, of Auburn, Wash., died of multiple traumatic injuries, after the Amtrak train went off the rails over a bridge near Tacoma, Wash., Wednesday, killing at least six. Gran was arrested in 2013 after the police found he had a relationship with a known pedophile, Robert Mikelsons, who was responsible for sexually assaulting 86 male minors at a day care center, according to The New York Post.

Gran went to prison for two years after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography. He was released on Dec. 31, 2015.

There were approximately 78 passengers on board the train and five crew members, Amtrak said in a statement. “Initial reports are that some injuries are reported to passengers and crew, and taken to local medical facilities for treatment,” the statement said. The death count toll is expected to rise due to the extent of some of the injuries.
