Speaking from atop a hill in Jerusalem, Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu gave a heartfelt message to Christians celebrating around the world.

Bibi began the remarks saying he was in Jerusalem and calling it “The Holy City.” In a highly controversial move, President Trump began the process of moving the American embassy to Jerusalem, recognizing the melting pot city as the undisputed capitol of Israel.

Bibi went on to say that Israel is “a country that says ‘Merry Christmas.'”

I’m very proud to be the Prime Minister of Israel. A country that says Merry Christmas, first to its Christian citizens, and to our Christian friends around the world! I’m proud that Israel is a country where Christians not only survive but they thrive, because we believe in this friendship for all people.
