Former Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann is thinking about running for Al Franken’s former Senate seat.

Bachmann is a conservative who ran for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012.

Bachmann revealed her potential plans in a conversation with evangelical television host Jim Bakker on Dec. 27. Bachmann said she he had been praying about whether she should seek the Senate ever since Franken announced he would retire after sexual misconduct allegations surfaced against him. His last day in the Senate was Tuesday.

“I’ve had people contact me and urge me to run for that Senate seat,” Bachmann told Bakker. “Am I being called to this now? I don’t know.”

Until there is an election, Minnesota Lt. Gov. Tina Smith will occupy Franken’s vacated Senate seat. She plans to contest the seat this November when a special election decides Franken’s successor.
