HGTV “Fixer Upper” duo Chip and Joanna Gaines revealed Tuesday night that they are expecting their fifth child.
Chip Gaines made the announcement on Instagram, with a photo of he and his wife in gray sweatshirts and matching baby bumps.
“Gaines party of 7,” he wrote. “(If you’re still confused.. WE ARE PREGNANT).”
Gaines started dropping hints Tuesday night on Twitter shortly before the home renovation show aired on Jan. 2. But it wasn’t until the Instagram photo that fans got to see the first shot of Joanna’s baby bump.
“Everyone tune in now for tonight’s #FixerUpper! We’ve got some BIG news to share.. hint #1,” Gaines tweeted. He added a second hint, “Airing as we tweet.”

“Hint #3 You might recall a few months back.. the ever amazing, ever romantic @JOHNNYSWIM was in Waco. And they put on a little too romantic of a concert.. anyways, one thing led to another, & we are officially pregnant. And I could not be more EXCITED! #5 #7ThePerfectNumber,” he continued on Twitter.

A few months back, Chip and Joanna announced that the fifth season of “Fixer Upper” would be their last.
The Gaines are already parents of two girls and two boys.
