WATCH: Ice Is Enveloping Cars In Boston
A massive winter storm hit Boston, Mass., Thursday, enveloping the city with freezing cold waters and trapping cars, footage reveals.
The Boston Harbor overflowed due to the ice chunks from the storm, swamping the surrounding streets with icy water that effectively froze around cars on the street and trapped them, reports ABC News. Massachusetts police officers informed citizens that the roads were closed due to the flooding, while local schools also closed down.

“It’s not so slushy like this, so it usually runs off more,” a resident told ABC News. “I guess we’ll see how it goes when we wake up in the morning.”
Much of the northeast is being hit by freezing cold temperatures, thanks to a “bomb cyclone” causing various cities to experience wind chills making the temperature feel below zero.
