It’s Monday, January 8, 2018. And you’re in the Situation Room (nah, it’s The Daily Caller Newsroom).

WATCH:

In case you missed it, President Donald Trump has severely escalated his feud with Breitbart chief Steve Bannon over Michael Wolff’s new book on the Trump administration.

Bannon issued another statement over the weekend trying to distance himself from his previous quotes, but inadvertently ended up insulting Donald Trump Jr.

Again.

Also on today’s docket, we’ve got a schedule update on POTUS’ fake news awards. Props to White House correspondent Saagar Enjeti, who’s become so drunk on his newfound power that he’s now referring to himself in the third person. Someone come gets they man.

Perhaps most importantly, the Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama Crimson Tide square off in the College Football National Championship. It’s kind of weird that in a year where the SEC officially died and the Big 10 rose to dominate the college football ranks, we’ve got two SEC teams dukin’ it out for the top spot.

Kickoff is at 8:00 pm ET.

You can get Michael Wolff’s book, “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” over at Amazon.
