White House adviser Ivanka Trump posted a photo on Instagram Wednesday that led many social media users to wonder whether the First Daughter was pregnant.

“This was just posted…I have questions,” said freelance journalist Yashar Ali.

“Is Ivanka pregnant again, or is this an old pic?” asked Emily Singer, a senior writer for Mic.

“…did Ivanka Trump just announce she’s pregnant?” asked Christine Rousselle, an editor at Townhall.com.

Verdict: False

An official with the Trump administration confirmed to The Daily Caller News Foundation that Ivanka Trump is not pregnant. She merely reposted a photo from 2016 when she was carrying her third child.

Fact Check:

Ivanka Trump posted the photo Wednesday morning to wish her husband Jared Kushner, a senior adviser to President Donald Trump, a happy birthday.

“Happy birthday, Jared! Thank you for being the most amazing father, husband, and best friend I could have dreamed of. Here’s to you!” she captioned the photo.

Ivanka Trump poses with a hand over her stomach in the photo.

The post led to speculation that Ivanka Trump may be expecting another child, but the First Daughter simply posted a throwback photo from New Year’s Day 2016 when she was seven months pregnant with her and Kushner’s third child.

“I am looking forward to a year filled with love, laughter and adventure with my incredible husband, Jared, and our (growing) family. #happynewyear #2016,” read the Instagram caption.

Media outlets like The Daily Mail reported on the photo at the time.

Ivanka Trump and Kushner currently have three children – a six-year-old daughter, Arabella, a four-year-old son, Joseph, and a one-year-old son, Theodore.
