MSNBC’s Chris Matthews said Thursday that Hillary Clinton is like “an old girlfriend” that Donald Trump “can’t get over in a weird way.”

On “Hardball With Chris Matthews,” the host played several clips of President Trump talking about Clinton negatively, then remarked, “It’s like an old torch, an old girlfriend he can’t get over in a weird way. And obviously, perversely, he can’t get her out of his head. What is this?”
Matthews, meanwhile, has been accused of running an abusive work environment, objectifying women and making inappropriate sexual comments about them. One person told The Daily Caller, “He would eye down a woman who walked on set or comment on their features or what they were wearing,” adding, “he would objectify them and interrupt them in a way that he would never do to his male guests.
