MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski spend much of “Morning Joe” knocking the president, but now they’re criticizing the media for being too anti-Trump.

In an upcoming podcast interview with Katie Couric, the cohosts and couple did some self-reflection on how they cover the president.

“The entire mainstream media, we are reflexively anti-Trump on all things,” Scarborough argued.

“We’re over our skis and it’s going to hurt us,” Brzezinski added.

It’s an interesting criticism coming from the pair that often spends time during their show questioning Trump’s fitness for office and even his mental health. (RELATED: ‘Morning Joe’ Again Questions Trump’s Fitness For Office)

The cohosts have been criticized by some media members for giving Trump too much coverage during the election, but the pair denied that they gave him any special access.

“We asked Hillary to be on so many times,” Brzezinski claimed. “The only way we could get her on is if we agreed to an 18-minute interview. We had to get into a tiny little prop plane and fly to South Carolina and land in a dirt field and wait for her in the back of a school for our 18 minutes. Then it was very, very, very planned. And they cut us off.”
