Former Vice President Joe Biden jumped into the fray of voices criticizing President Trump for his language on Friday. Trump has come under recent criticism for allegedly calling third world countries “shitholes” in a meeting with lawmakers. In response, Biden said in a tweet that “we’re better than this.”
There were many responses to the viral tweet, which now has over 155,000 retweets.
Some pointed out that the former vice president does not have the best history with family-friendly language. Biden did indeed say the word “fucking” on live TV in 2011.
