Chrissy Teigen has offered to pay McKayla Maroney’s potential fine off if she testifies against Larry Nassar, the now defamed Team USA Women’s Gymnastics team doctor.

Nassar has been accused of criminal sexual misconduct by 140 women, including Aly Raisman, Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas, and McKayla Maroney.

Maroney received a $1.25 million settlement from USA Gymnastics, which she claimed she needed due to the mental illness Dr. Nassar caused her. The settlement also allegedly required Maroney to sign a nondisclosure agreement which would fine her $100,000 if she ever discussed Nassar’s misdoings.

Maroney was represented by attorney Gloria Allred at the time she accepted the settlement.

The Daily Mail first reported that Maroney would face a $100,000 fine if she violated the nondisclosure agreement.

When Chrissy Teigen saw the story, she tweeted “The entire principle of this should be fought – an NDA to stay quiet about this serial monster with over 140 accusers, but I would be absolutely honored to pay this fine for you, McKayla.”

Maroney has not yet responded to Teigen’s offer. 98 women are expected to appear in court this week to make victim impact statements against Nassar during his sentencing.
