The highly-anticipated heist film “Den of Thieves” hits theaters tomorrow, and I couldn’t be more excited.
The plot of the film is, “Every day, $120 million in cash is taken out of circulation and destroyed by the Federal Reserve. An elite crew of bank robbers sets out to pull off the ultimate heist and get to the money first, right under the noses of Los Angeles’ most feared division of law enforcement.”
Everything about this movie looks awesome. There is no chance I’m missing out on the opportunity to see Gerard Butler and Pablo Schreiber battle it out with guns in the street.
Movies have gotten a bit soft these days, and it seems like we never get to see awesome shootouts anymore. Well, I think “Den of Thieves” is going to be full of action.
Has there ever been a role Butler was better suited for than playing a rogue cop taking down a heist crew? The answer is an obvious no.
I can’t wait to catch this movie. I might cry from disappointment if it ends up sucking. Luckily, I don’t think that’ll happen.
