MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle may have said “balls” just one too many times during a Thursday segment with a Democratic donor.

WATCH:

Major Democratic donor Stephen Cloobeck said on Ruhle’s show that his party needs to grow some “brass balls” in order to win against Republicans, and Ruhle took the phrase and ran with it.

“You know, the Republicans have balls,” Cloobeck said. “And the Democrats need to have brass balls now.”

“What do Democrats need to do because they have lost leverage?” Ruhle asked later in the interview.

“Shut the government down,” Cloobeck responded. “Hold tight. Have brass balls.”

“Alright, well if brass balls are the topic, are you gonna run for governor of the state of Nevada?” Ruhle pressed.

Cloobeck laughed and ultimately said that he wouldn’t be running for governor.

“Stephen Cloobeck, big time Democratic donor who’s got a message for his party: brass ones,” Ruhle concluded.
