On CNN’s “Cuomo Primetime,” host Chris Cuomo said, “Let’s deal with the proposition as it lies. Symone Sanders, if this is true, what does it mean politically?”

Sanders said, “I mean I think politically it means a couple things. What else do we not know about that happened over the last couple months that Donald Trump and folks in his camp have been denying or brushing to the side? How deep does the rabbit hole really go?”

She added, “I think it goes to show that things coming out of this White House cannot be trusted. That’s something I have thought for a really long time, and these are real political implications. If Donald Trump did in fact ask for the special counsel to be fired, that’s something you just can’t come back from, in my opinion.” (RELATED: CNN’s Symone Sanders Attacks MLK’s Nephew Because He Doesn’t Think Trump Is Racist [VIDEO])
