A group of liberal celebrities and progressive activists are planning on holding a “People’s State of the Union” Monday evening, the day before President Donald Trump gives his own address to Congress.

The New York City event is billed as a “public alternative” to the official State of the Union address, and is slated to include filmmaker Michael Moore and actors Mark Ruffalo, Alyssa Milano, Rosie Perez and Whoopi Goldberg.

As of Saturday, tickets were still available for $47 per seat at the Town Hall in Manhattan, N.Y. Attendees will also enjoy performances by singer Andra Day and rapper Common, who will perform “Stand Up for Something” from the film “Marshall,” about the first black Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall.th

A number of unions, Planned Parenthood and Women’s March organizers helped organize the event. The resistance-themed show will be live streamed at peoplessotu.org.

Milano asked her followers to create videos describing “your dream for America” in a promotion for the liberal event.

With the “People’s State of the Union” will also come the launch of the political group “We Stand United” which is dedicated to making “sure that we win back Congress in 2018 and hold this president in check,” Fox News reported.

Ruffalo described the group as “the mother of all movements.”
