Charlie Daniels called out Democratic Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer Monday for his rejection of President Donald Trump’s recent proposal for dealing with illegal immigration.
“Senator Schumer, one time, just one time I’d love to hear you speak about the men and women who bled and died for you with as much compassion as you speak about illegals in this country. Veterans are committing suicide at the rate of 22 a day and they’re already citizens Shameful,” the 81-year-old country singer tweetedy, before adding a rhyme about the senator not wanting to deal and only wanting to “squeal.” (RELATED: Charlie Daniels has a few topic suggestions for Obama’s State of the Union… and he’s not fiddling around)

Schumer don’t want to deal, he just wants to squeal, don’t care about minorities, just wants dem majorities.
He wants fiscal debits and huge carbon credits he says will control global weather
He don’t want a wall
Just welcome to all

And he’s not alone in that assessment. On Saturday, Trump tweeted that his new proposed DACA fix was to prove “Democrats do not want to solve” the problem.
“I have offered DACA a wonderful deal, including a doubling in the number of recipients & a twelve year pathway to citizenship, for two reasons: (1) Because the Republicans want to fix a long time terrible problem. (2) To show that Democrats do not want to solve DACA, only use it,” the president tweeted.
