President Donald Trump said he wouldn’t consider himself a feminist, explaining Thursday in his first international broadcast interview since taking office that he’s for all men and women.

“I wouldn’t say I’m a feminist. I mean, I think that would be, maybe, going too far. I’m for women, I’m for men, I’m for everyone,” Trump told British journalist Piers Morgan.

“Trump has repeatedly criticized the Women’s March and other initiatives protesting and critiquing his presidency on the basis that his policies and worldview harm women,” The Washington Post’s The Fix reported.

Trump tweeted positively about the 2018 Women’s March.”Beautiful weather all over our great country, a perfect day for all Women to March. Get out there now to celebrate the historic milestones and unprecedented economic success and wealth creation that has taken place over the last 12 months. Lowest female unemployment in 18 years!” he tweeted Jan. 20.

Trump’s White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway has echoed the president’s sentiments. “It’s difficult for me to call myself a feminist in the classic sense because it seems to be very anti-male and it certainly is very pro-abortion the 2017 Conservative Political Action Conference,” she said in 2017.
