I don’t think anybody ever actually thought she’d fight in the UFC again. It seemed obvious that she wouldn’t after suffering brutal back-to-back losses.
It didn’t take long for the WWE rumors to start flying. Now we know it’s truly a done deal. I think we can all agree that this puts a nail in the coffin of her UFC days, and that’s not a bad thing by any stretch of the imagination.
Rousey blazed a path for scores of other female fighters. Without Rousey the women’t side of the UFC wouldn’t even be a thing. That’s one hell of a legacy to carry. Hopefully she goes and crushes it in the WWE.
