We’ve got some more confirmed news for “Westworld,” and it involves the return of two major characters.

Beyond Westworld reported the following:

Ben Barnes confirmed his return as Logan via interview, and Jimmi Simpson confirmed his return as young William via Twitter. Now that audiences know their scenes are taking place in the past rather than the present, it’ll be intriguing to see how their story evolves in Season 2. At the very least, audiences should learn what happened to Logan after riding off on the horse, and further see how William became the formidable Man in Black. There’s a lot of trips William took to Westworld that audiences still haven’t seen. Most importantly, though, the tension between William and Logan is far from over.

Barnes and Simpson returning is huge. One of the major concerns of fans was that we wouldn’t get to see the full conversion of William to the Man in Black. With Simpson coming back, it would seem to indicate that fans are almost certainly going to see it. Why else would they be bringing him back?

It’s equally interesting that we’re getting Barnes back as Logan. I think most fans, myself included, just assumed that he died in season one when Logan sent him riding off into the sunset. It seemed like the logical conclusion given the situation.

Another day goes by and we keep getting great news. It’s supposed to be premiering sometime in the spring of 2018, and that day honestly can’t get here fast enough.

I haven’t heard a single thing about the upcoming season that’s not awesome. Let’s hope like hell that it lives up to the hype. I don’t need HBO letting the whole world down.
