Alabama defensive end Isaiah Buggs seems more than open to the idea of playing the University of Central Florida.

UCF was the only undefeated team in America this past season and has crowned themselves national champions. Alabama won the college football playoff, but lost to Auburn in the regular season. UCF didn’t have much trouble dispatching Auburn in the Peach Bowl.

This has led fans to debate about who the rightful champion is between Alabama and UCF. Buggs tweeted, “Since y’all wanna be champs so bad y’all schedule BAMA then,” in response to UCF tweeting out that they’re national champs.

It’s too bad these two teams didn’t actually play last year because it would have finally put an end to the debate. Personally, I think UCF has every right to claim that they’re national champs. They went undefeated and beat the SEC West champs in the Peach Bowl. The SAME SEC West champs who beat Alabama during the regular season.

The real reason I want them to keep claiming that they’re national champs is because it’s pissing off the SEC fanboys so much. Just look at the responses to this tweet.

There’s nothing funnier than SEC fans who feel like they’re not being respected. I hope UCF drives up to Tuscaloosa and holds a parade there too. Never let this go away.
