A high school student in Texas reportedly found explicit images of a teacher performing oral sex on him while he slept after borrowing the teacher’s phone to call his mom.

Manuel Alejandro Gamboa, 35, a substitute teacher and “mentor” to the high school boy, is being held on an $80,000 bail as of Tuesday. He reportedly took sexually explicit videos and photos of the teenager at his apartment, reported The New York Post.

Gamboa was arrested Jan. 24 and charged with an improper relationship with a student and sexual assault. He appeared in court Jan. 26, added ABC13.

Gamboa reportedly invited the 17-year-old to his apartment on June 3 and helped him with homework because he’s not fluent in English. The teacher gave the unnamed teen beer, which caused him to feel dizzy and fall asleep. When the teen woke up, he asked to borrow Gamboa’s phone to call his mom. That’s when he found sexually explicit images of the teacher performing oral sex on him while he was asleep.

A sexual assault exam found the victim had DNA that did not belong to him on his body, according to the complaint.

Gamboa was immediately removed from the substitute teacher pool for the Spring Independent School District, school officials added.
