White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders took a swipe at Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi in a Wednesday interview with CNN.
Sanders referenced Pelosi’s facial reactions to President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address, during which she appeared slightly unhappy.

“I’ve never seen Nancy Pelosi’s face like that,” CNN host Chris Cuomo said. Sanders quickly retorted that “Pelosi looks like that all the time. I think she should smile more often.”
“She seems to embody the bitterness that belongs in the democrat party.” She continued, “They need to decide whether they love America more than they hate this president.”
Cuomo fired back that “a fundamental disagreement is where’s the hate. Nancy Pelosi has argued on this set that it is righteous indignation you see coming from her.”
