Students Shot At Los Angeles Middle School

A Los Angeles middle school was put on lockdown Thursday after reports of a shooting happening on the campus, according to local reports.

Police took a 15 year-old girl into custody at the Salvador Castro Middle School, reports NBC News. Two 15-year-old students were shot, with the male student in  critical condition at the hospital.

Police officers initially responded to reports of gunshots in the early morning. The school was placed on lockdown as the authorities tried to handle the situation.
