Philadelphia is a city, not a state.
Forgive me for insulting your intelligence, but not everyone is as learned as you. Insert LaVar Ball’s youngest son, LaMelo.
In the latest episode of the Ball family’s docuseries “Ball In The Family”, LaMelo gets a quick seminar on a map of the United States.
The scene shows LaMelo, his brother LiAngelo and a family friend driving through downtown Philly.
The family friend said, “Philadelphia, I love this city, man. It’s cool. You can just walk. You know what I’m saying?”
LaMelo responded, “You dumb as hell. Did you just say Philadelphia was a city?”

The 16-year-old LaMelo is currently playing professional basketball in Lithuania – opting to bypass American high schools, along with a full-ride scholarship offer from UCLA.
If LaVar Ball wasn’t already out of the running for 2018 Father of the Year, he definitely is now.
