HBO dropped a 90-second preview of season two of “Westworld,” and it exceeded expectations.

I damn near lost my mind when I heard we were getting a preview of season two during the Super Bowl. It was nearly better news than the actual Super Bowl mania. Upon arriving to the party, we all agreed during the “Westworld” preview everybody would shut up and watch.

There are times to be loud and there are times to be quiet. It’s time to be quiet when HBO releases new “Westworld” footage.

Dolores does the voiceover in the preview and chillingly states, “We can save this world. We can burn it to the ground. From the ashes, build a new world. Our world.”

I have chills. I’ve watched that preview probably 20 times already, and it keeps hitting me like a hammer.

Fans who had any worries should be just fine now. It doesn’t look like we’re getting any garbage or any storylines running away from what made the show great. HBO is sticking to what works, and I couldn’t be happier. Season two is going to be everything we hoped it would be.

That preview was one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a long time. I honestly can’t remember the last time I was this excited for a show to come back.

April 22 can’t get here fast enough.
