A former renowned U.S. gymnastics coach is under investigation following the sentencing of disgraced ex-doctor Larry Nassar, a Michigan sheriff’s office announced Tuesday.

John Geddert, head of the 2012 U.S. Olympic gymnastics team and owner of elite gymnastics club Twistars, is being investigated by the Eaton County Sheriff’s Office.

Nassar is serving life in prison for child pornography and sexual abuse, reported the Lansing State Journal. Besides employing Nassar, who was sentenced to 40 to 125 years for child pornography and sexual abuse, as a doctor for Twistars, reported the Chicago Tribune.

“We have had people coming forward, and our investigation is ongoing,” said Jerri Nesbitt, a spokeswoman for the Eaton County Sherrif’s office.

Geddert is accused of physical and verbal abuse on two occasions. He allegedly assaulted a woman outside the Twistars parking lot in 2011. The coach allegedly yelled obscenities at the woman, stepped on her foot, and chest bumped her during a heated argument. In October 2013, Geddert allegedly brought a young gymnast into the locker room and physically abused her by stepping on her toe, grabbing her arm, and then pushing her against the wall. USA Gymnastics suspended Geddert in January due to the allegations.
