Even John Oliver, host of HBO’s “Last Week Tonight,” isn’t exactly thrilled with the proposition of listening to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi talk for seven hours straight.

WATCH:

Oliver appeared as as guest on CBS’ “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” Wednesday. When Colbert mentioned Pelosi speaking on the House floor for seven hours in defense of DACA amnesty recipients, the crowd began to applaud.

“I’m not sure deep down you know for sure if or what you’re applauding there,” Oliver said. “‘Oh, she talked for seven hours.’ That sounds like an endurance effort to do and to listen to, to some extent.”

“I don’t know if anyone wants to hear Nancy Pelosi speak about anything for seven hours,” he said.

Pelosi’s speech was apparently so hard to listen to that California Democratic Rep. Doris Matsui fell asleep twice while the House minority leader was talking. (RELATED: Pelosi Bores Dem Rep. To Sleep — TWICE — During House Filibuster)
