Daniel Tosh and his hit show “Tosh.O” won’t be leaving Comedy Central anytime soon because he just inked a three year extension.

The Hollywood Reporter reported the following:

Comedy Central just locked Daniel Tosh in for another three seasons of Tosh.0.

The contract extension, which will keep the comedian on the network through 2020, comes on the eve of his tenth season — premiering Mar. 27. Tosh and Comedy Central president Kent Alterman reacted with two of the Viacom network’s classically terse and snarky statements.

“Knowing when to move on in show business is highly overrated,” offered Tosh. Added Alterman, “I know it makes Daniel uncomfortable to publicly acknowledge our love and affection for each other, but we couldn’t be more thrilled to extend our relationship with him.”

People who embrace politically correct culture absolutely hate Tosh because there’s nothing off-limits to him. Those of us who reject the shackles of political correctness should all be happy whenever Tosh is succeeding at anything.

His show is hilarious, and while I don’t watch it as much as I used to, the superstar comedian brings it on a regular basis. His bits involving Alabama football are particularly entertaining.

The world needs people like Tosh in it. We can’t let the losers who want to censor comedy ever get any kind of victory. Comedy central committing to Tosh is proof that there are at least some people left in the entertainment industry with the balls on them to give the fans what they want, regardless of the outside noise.

Comedy is supposed to go after everything and few people do it like Tosh does.
