Matthew McConaughey once again proved he’s one of the coolest guys on the planet with a full-page ad congratulating Nick Foles.
The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and McConaughey are both natives of the Lone Star State, and that’s the theme for the ad he bought in American-Statesman.
The ad reads, “From one local to another, Congratulations Nick Foles. Just keep livin.”

This is why McConaughey is one of the coolest dudes out there. He doesn’t appear to have any connections to Foles beyond both being born in Texas. Yet, he goes out and buys a full-page advertisement to congratulate the Super Bowl hero for the Eagles.
It was simplistic, it was straight to the point and it’s awesome. There are plenty of losers and awful people in Hollywood. It’s one of the reasons why people do not like Hollywood at all. We love their movies, but we can’t stand most of the celebrities.
However, McConaughey is one of the good guys for sure. He’s just out here making awesome movies, being a chill guy and taking out a full-page ad for Nick Foles.
