A new preview for “A Quiet Place” was released late Monday night, and it makes me think this movie will pretty very solid.
The plot of the movie, according to the YouTube description, is, “A family lives an isolated existence in utter silence, for fear of an unknown threat that follows and attacks at any sound.”
I was hesitant to believe a movie where the cast has to be silent the whole time would be any good. How could John Karsinski and Emily Blunt possibly make an entertaining movie where there’s no speaking?
Well, that might have been a bit of an early overreaction because the new preview is awesome. It sets up the backdrop of what appears to be an alien invasion, and Blunt having to remain silent while giving birth. The latter is actually a very intriguing plot point.
What do you think? Pretty good, right? You can check it out in theaters April 6.
