MSNBC Analyst: America Has Never Had Someone So ‘Intellectually, Morally, Temperamentally’ Unfit As President

MSNBC commentator and anti-Trump Republican Steve Schmidt said Tuesday that America has never elected someone “who is so manifestly unfit — intellectually, morally, temperamentally — for the office of president of the United States.”

“Both parties have elected great presidents and bad presidents. They’ve elected, both parties, a couple of presidents at existential moments that decided whether the United States of America would survive. “But the country has never before now elected somebody who is so manifestly unfit intellectually, morally, temperamentally, for the office of president of the United States.”

Schmidt worked for John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign as a senior adviser.
