MSNBC commentator and anti-Trump Republican Steve Schmidt said Tuesday that America has never elected someone “who is so manifestly unfit — intellectually, morally, temperamentally — for the office of president of the United States.”
“Both parties have elected great presidents and bad presidents. “But the country has never before now elected somebody who is so manifestly unfit intellectually, morally, temperamentally, for the office of president of the United States.”
Schmidt also said, “And what we see is a capitulation by the Republican Party, its leaders, in support of–by any definition is reckless, abhorrent, malfeasant behavior.” (RELATED: ‘Appalling’: MSNBC’s Schmidt Says Fox News The Same As ‘Propaganda In Authoritarian Countries’ [VIDEO])
