Authorities reported a shooting and more than one fatality at a high school in Parkland, Fla., Wednesday afternoon.

The Broward’s Sheriff Office said the shooting occurred at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland. At least 17 people are dead, reported the Miami Herald. Florida Sen. Bill Nelson said there were multiple casualties on Fox News.

Law enforcement identified the shooter as former Marjory student Nicholas Cruz, according to the Miami Herald.

CBS Evening News released a video containing audio of the shooting:

The suspect is reported to be a white male in a burgundy shirt, according to NBC Miami. The school is on lockdown.

Stoneman Douglas has 3,208 students and 129 teachers.

President Donald Trump also tweeted his condolences for the victims’ families.

An apparent student trapped in the building tweeted out what appear to be pictures of a Stoneman Douglas classroom. Other individuals can be seen in one of the pictures.
