Donald Trump Jr. is wondering why Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon is so obsessed with Vice President Mike Pence.
The bronze medalist was quoted by The Hill as saying he did not want the Olympics to be “about Mike Pence” — even though the gay athlete has been criticizing Pence because the vice president as an evangelical Christian has moral objections to homosexuality.
Trump tweeted Tuesday, “Really? Then Perhaps you shouldn’t have spent the past few weeks talking about him. I haven’t heard him mention you once???”

Pence has not commented on Rippon, despite the figure skater’s open criticisms of the vice president, referring to him in a USA Today interview, “You mean Mike Pence, the same Mike Pence that funded gay conversion therapy.”
The article also described how Rippon reportedly refused to meet Pence when he had the opportunity to do so.
Rippon told CNN, “I don’t want my Olympic experience being about Mike Pence.”
“I have no problem about what I’ve said because I stand by it, but I think right now the Olympics are about Olympic competition.”
