Twenty-seven-year-old Olympic gold medalist Jamie Anderson continues to prove herself as one of the best female snowboarders in the world.

The snowboarder rode effortlessly into the 2018 Winter Olympics and won another gold medal in the slopestyle competition, becoming the first woman to win two Olympic gold medals in snowboarding.

As she flew down the course in an error-free run and finished her victory lap, she met up with boyfriend Tyler Nicholson, a snowboarder for the Canadian team. While the rivalry is tense between Canada and the United States during the Winter Olympics, this couple seems to be able to put all that aside.

When she’s not shredding the gnar, she’s enjoying the outdoors, herbal remedies and making the typical celebrity appearances. Always caught in the spotlight, Anderson is just your average Joe, growing up near Sierra Mountain with eight siblings. Anderson lives and breathes nature. Just a quick glance at her Instagram and you will see her living large in Lake Tahoe, discovering new hot springs and enjoying some yoga in her backyard.

Just a typical Saturday afternoon.

Check out Anderson on and off the slopes to see that Olympic athletes are just like you.
