On Thursday fans got their first look at the “Karate Kid” sequel “Cobra Kai,” and it has fans wanting more.

“Karate Kid’s Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso aren’t the same people they were in high school– but their rivalry hasn’t changed one bit. The Karate Kid saga continues,” a description released with the clip shared on YouTube read. (RELATED: Karate Kid Ain’t So Great At Breakin’ Boards, Much Better At Being Totally Adorable [VIDEO])

Both Ralph Macchio (the original Karate Kid, Daniel LaRusso) and his nemesis “Johnny” (William Zabke) appear in the short video.

“I just don’t know why you would ever want to bring back Cobra Kai,” Macchio explained in a voice over. “Johnny, you and I, this…we aren’t done.”

The classic 1984 film “Karate Kid” pitted young Daniel — recently new to the ways of karate — up against a much bigger and experienced Russo in the original feel-good movie.
