Oddsmakers aren’t very confident that Johnny Manziel will be on an NFL roster at the start of the NFL season.
RJ Bell tweeted that Manziel currently sits at +170 to be on a roster, which means a $100 wager on him making it would generate a $170 payout. The line for him not getting back on a roster is -250. You’d have to bet $250 on him not coming back in order to win $100.

I’m honestly shocked that oddsmakers are giving him odds this good. There’s no doubt I’m a huge supporter of #ComebackSZN, but realize it’s a long road a head. Giving him +170 is way better than I would have ever expected.
I figured it’d be more in the +300 range as of right now.
It’s a bit strange to breakdown. It’s clear that oddsmakers aren’t overly confident in the fact he’ll be slinging it in the NFL this year.
However, they’re more confident than I think most people would have expected, and Vegas is rarely ever wrong. It’s hard to think about it this way, but Vegas actually has his comeback going better than most people, despite them still not favoring him.
