MSNBC commentator Donny Deutsch said Friday that if he was a parent of a student shot at the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas high school this week, he would “take it as an insult” to see President Trump visit.

“Just in terms of Trump going down there,” Deutsch said. “I hope those poor parents say to him “We don’t want you. Don’t come, Mr. President.”

“If I was any one of those parents I would take it as an insult if he showed up.”

17 people were killed in the shooting this Friday. (RELATED: Here’s Everything We Know About The Florida High School Shooting Suspect)

Deutsch has been a frequent critic of President Trump, often resorting to unhinged rhetoric. Earlier this month, he said that President Trump is a “dictator” and that “our democracy is under siege.”

“People need to start taking to the streets. This is a dictator.” (RELATED: MSNBC Commentator: ‘People Need To Start Taking To The Streets. This Is A Dictator.’)
