Trump Thanks Law Enforcement For Work On Florida School Shooting

President Donald Trump thanked law enforcement and first responders Friday for their efforts in responding to Wednesday’s school shooting in Parkland, Florida.

WATCH:

Trump visited Florida on Friday to visit the hospital where victims were recovering and also to meet with law enforcement officials and first responders. Seventeen people were killed on Wednesday when a former student of Stoneman Douglas High School stormed the school with an AR-15. “They got her over to the hospital in 21 minutes — she had no chance,” Trump said, talking about one of the shooting victims who survived. “Your people who got her…you got here there. What a job well done. The doctors did a great job over there.”

“I hope you’re getting the credit for it because trust me you deserve it,” Trump said. “The job you’ve been doing is unparalleled.”
