Tennis superstar Genie Bouchard apparently feels being a swimsuit model is tougher than being a superstar athlete.

Sports Illustrated posted a swimsuit photo of Bouchard Sunday and it included a quote from her stating, “This is harder than playing tennis.” (SLIDESHOW: These Women On Instagram Hate Wearing Clothes)

Look, I have no idea how hard modeling is compared to playing sports. I have no doubt that modeling is extremely difficult. (SLIDESHOW: 142 Times Josephine Skriver Barely Wore Anything)

What I do know for sure is that the time and effort it requires to be an elite athlete, such as Bouchard, is incredible. You’re talking about several hours every single day over the course of decades. There are 14 year old kids traveling all over the country to play hockey. They’re living an NHL lifestyle and don’t even have a driver’s license yet. (SLIDESHOW: 71 Times Samantha Hoopes Stripped Down)

That’s the time and commitment it takes if you want to get to the NHL. You pretty much have to give up your life for a shot at the top. (SLIDESHOW: 60 Times Abigail Ratchford Wore Almost Nothing)

Is modeling harder than that? Maybe it is or maybe it’s not. Bouchard seems like she’d be the type of person who would know, considering the fact she’s done both. (SLIDESHOW: This Blonde Bombshell Might Be The Hottest Model On The Internet)

I guess we’ll just have to take her word for it. There’s no doubt that her modeling shots are also pretty elite. (SLIDESHOW: 62 Times Emily Sears Stripped Down On Instagram)
