UFC president Dana White confirmed that there are ongoing discussions about a rematch of some kind between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor.

“The only way a rematch makes sense in that fight is in the UFC…We’re talking,” White recently told TMZ Sports when asked about the subject.

This is the kind of news that I like to hear. Give the people what they want, and the people desperately want a rematch between these two superstar fighters.

We already got the boxing match between the two back in August 2017, so it’d make sense to switch things up a bit. Imagine how many people would tune in to watch Mayweather fight McGregor in the octagon. It would be legendary. There’s a bar I sometimes frequent when I’m in need of a beer during some UFC fights, and it’s generally packed for a regular fight card.

I can’t even begin to imagine what the atmosphere would be like to watch Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor duke it out in the octagon. It’d be wild. I’d be more than willing to fork over a bunch of money for the fight.

Dana White needs to get this done. Do it for the unwashed masses!
