Eric Trump took issue with U.S. olympian Gus Kenworthy’s recent tweet criticizing First Daughter Ivanka Trump as head of the U.S. delegation at the closing ceremony, in a Monday interview with Fox and Friends.
So proud of all these people! Everybody here has worked so hard to make it to the Olympics and have the opportunity to walk in the closing ceremony! Well… Everyone except Ivanka. Honestly, tf is she doing here?? pic.twitter.com/sfJKi0VTDb

“I think its disgusting,” Trump declared, adding, “That’s not what the Olympics is about, politics should not enter into the Olympics.” He continued that the insult bothered him as a brother and posed the question: “Can you imagine if Sasha or Malia went over to the olympics and somebody said that about them” continuing “the olympics is actually a great avenue to escape everything we talk about all the time.”
Kenworthy, an openly gay athlete, is no stranger to controversy at the games. He previously took a photo with another gay athlete and taunted Vice President Mike Pence to “eat your heart out.”
